Broadgate Farm offers holiday lets in cottages set in the Yorkshire Wolds in glorious Yorkshire, only two miles from the market town of Beverley, minutes from Beverley Westwood and convenient for Hull.
Each holiday cottage has been converted from charming period farm buildings, these self-catering cottages each sleep from 4 to 9 and two of our holiday cottages link to sleep 12 in 6 bedrooms. Our vacation rentals all have toasty eco-friendly central heating and a private garden/patio area, the farmstead is set in 19 acres of grass & woodland, a wildlife haven with lovely views across the fields.
Most of our cottages are suitable for people with mobility disability, we have also made adjustments for guests with dementia, autism and visual impairment. There are 7 of the 9 cottages with wet rooms / roll-in showers.
In all cottages but Foldyard, Cart House and Courtyard Cottage the facilities cover 2 floors, five of our cottages, The Stables, Foldyard, Cart House, Courtyard and The Barn House have ground floor bedrooms and bathrooms. The ground floor wetrooms have grab bars and we do have a range of portable mobility aids available for guests to use, available free of charge but they do have to be pre-booked so if you need something like a shower stool please give Elaine a call. If you need to hire in additional equipment we are always happy to take delivery for you.
For a large group taking all the properties in a group booking, up to 64 guests can be accommodated. If you would like to call and have an informal chat we can work out together how suitable the various cottages might be to your needs, we are also happy to make adjustments where possible.
Our self-catering cottages are located on our farmstead just outside the village of Walkington in East Yorkshire. All our cottages have been converted from former farm buildings during 2009/2015 to current building regulations standards so the doors are wide enough etc. Dogsare welcome.
