Treworgans Farm Holidays comprise of two specially converted and tastefully furnished cottages. Buzzard Watch has two bedrooms and sleeps up to 4 people and is all on one level while Valley View with three bedrooms sleeps up to 6 people and has the accessible level open plan kitchen. It has a living room and a large accessible bedroom that has an ensuite wet room the other two bedrooms which are accessed via stairs.
All doorways to accessible rooms are a MINIMUM of 770mm (most are over 800mm wide). All showers are wet-room style with NO step into shower area, kitchens have accessible hob and sink and 850mm wide x 350mm deep and 700mm high clear space under for wheelchair access. Light switches and electrical sockets at 1000mm.
Treworgans Farm is an 82 acre family run sheep farm in mid Cornwall. We are situated mid-way between Probus and Ladock. Both of these villages have a Post Office, general store and pub. In addition to these there is a fish and chip shop, various restaurants, butcher and a petrol station in Probus. We are 15 minutes from the Cathedral city of Truro, 30 minutes from the Eden Project, 20 minutes from The Lost Gardens of Heligan, and either the sheltered calmer bays of the south coast or rugged cliffs of the north coast are only 8 miles away. Being only 5 miles from the main A30 this makes Treworgans the ideal base to explore the whole of Cornwall.
Available for guest’s use are BHM mobile hoists which have the same sling attachments as Oxford type hoists (please bring your own sling/harness), electric 4-section profiling beds which can either have a foam pressure mattress or a Softform Active 2 dynamic air mattress. There are wheeled shower chairs, a shower-chair commode, high back chairs with arms, bed height raisers, toilet seat raisers and a kitchen perching stool. Other more specialist equipment can he hired from a local supplier.
