About Howden Court Hotel

There are 4 bedrooms located on the ground floor, one of which is disabled friendly ie. wheelchair users are able to utilize the 'walk-in' shower room. 

Built in 1860 Howden Court Hotel is a period Grade II listed property and retains many of the architectural features of the day.  We are a famiy run hotel located in the centre of Torquay. The hotel includes for a 3/4 acre garden with access via 'Croft Meadow Walk' private pathway to Torquay Seafront and Harbour.We have 30 guest bedrooms; 10 of which have WET ROOM facilities - for those guests who may have mobility issues. 

There are a number of superior bedrooms available throughout the hotel including SEAVIEW and GARDEN rooms that give quality for those looking to treat a loved one or celebrating a special occasion. The centre room of the three is the ADMIRALS ROOM, with three large windows giving views out over the Bay - this room is often sought after by those wanting to impress. (Supplements apply for all superior bedrooms). 

All bedrooms are tastefully decorated en-suites and provide beverage making facilities, colour TV and hairdryers.

Note, we are not Star Rated; we came out of the 'Star Rating' system many years ago. We believe a true reflection of what a hotel offers can be found via review sites such as TripAdvisor. Howden Court has won TripAdvisor's 'Certificate of Excellence' for the last 7 consecutive years which gained us a spot in the TripAdvisor 'Hall Of Fame' for 2019. We also won the TripAdvisor 'Travellers Choice' 2019; it's been another successful, busy year.
