Disabled Holiday Accommodation in our Log Cabins
Good quality disabled holiday accommodation can be hard to find, but at Hoe Grange Holidays we have given careful thought and consideration to providing easy access and excellent facilities for guests with limited mobility or additional needs. A real home from home, with a cosy feel.If you are looking for accessible holidays, all four of our cosy log cabins have level thresholds throughout and are rated under the National Accessible Scheme.
Our larger Pinder cabin has three bedrooms, with a standard family bathroom and is rated Hearing Level 1 and Mobility Level 1, ideal for more mobile, active guests.
Hipley Rainster and Daisybankcabins all have two bedrooms, sleeping up to 4 guests and are wheelchair friendly with a spacious accessible layout. The zip and link beds in the double rooms are flexible so you can choose to have single beds or superking doubles.
The wet room showers are wheelchair accessible and have grab rails, achieving NAS Mobility Level 2 and Level 3 Assisted. For added independence, Hipley cabin has a Closomat wash and dry toilet.
For those with hearing loss or partial sight, these three lodges are also rated Hearing Level 1 and Visual Level 1.
Fully Accessible Shower Rooms
The shower rooms are easily accessible from the twin bedroom and have been designed as wheel-in wet rooms, with hand support rails, plenty of transfer space and an adjustable shower head with thermostatic control. All taps are lever operated and there is a choice of mobile shower chairs available should you need one. There are drop down support bars on both sides of the toilet. Daisybank and Rainster also have Pressalit Care adjustable wash basins, which can be raised in height and can be moved away from the toilet allowing space for carers to give assistance from either side. Electric Profile Beds and Mobile Hoists
We believe in making life easy! In our accessible log cabins in the twin bedrooms there is one single electric profile bed, with sufficient clear space under the bed to use a mobile hoist, which you can book free of charge. Choose either the Oxford Advance Mobile Hoist or the Ardoo Caresafe 140 hoist and stand aid. Rainster and Hipley have Volker profile beds which are also height adjustable with pull up cot sides.
