About Seagull Trust Cruises

Starting Points are Falkirk, Ratho, Kirkintilloch, and Inverness.

We operate seven days a week on the Lowland Canals - April to October plus ‘Santa Cruises’ in December. We provide cruises of varying length for groups of up to 12 per boat.We provide comfortable purpose built boats with good views of the canal scenery. The boats are fully accessible with lifts which take passengers down to the saloons. Each boat has a galley and a toilet accessible for wheelchairs.Website

See 'STC FLEET'The Seagull Trust was founded in 1978 to provide cruises for disabled people of all ages, across Scotland. In 2007, the Trust became known as Seagull Trust Cruises with a goal of extending its work across Scotland, to provide cruises to people with special needs.

See our History

From its original base in Ratho, near Edinburgh where cruises took place on the Union Canal, activities have extended and there are now four branches at Ratho, Falkirk, Kirkintilloch and Highland Branch in Inverness, with cruises on the Union, Forth & Clyde and Caledonian Canals.

Between the months of April and October these branches, except for Highland, are generally offering cruises seven days a week in order that they might provide a service for as many people as possible. Seagull Trust Cruises aims to be as accommodating as possible to its users and so cruise durations are based upon the conditions and the wishes of the user groups.
