The Zonnebloem (Sunflower) cars are rental cars that can accommodate a wheelchair or mobility scooter in the back. The controls of the car have not been modified. There are seats for three to five people, depending on the type of car and equipment. That makes the car ideal for going out with family or friends.
There are more than 50 Zonnebloem cars for rent throughout the Netherlands. Via the map on the website you can see for each rental location what type of car it is, what the dimensions are and you will find useful instructional videos for loading and unloading the wheelchair. You will of course also receive the explanation when you pick up the car.
As Enable My Trip is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation we rely solely on donations and fund raising to keep our services truly free for users and providers. We are not a travel agent or trip organiser; You will need to contact the provider(s) directly to make reservations.
