About The Courtyard Garden - Normandy

Large ground floor studio apartment, situated in the southwest of Normandy.

The apartment is ground floor with level access suitable for ambulant disabled. Owned by the partner of a T5 paraplegic the apartment sleeps 4 people in total and has Free WiFi throughout. 

Lounge with double sofa bed, sleeps two people comfortably. Bedroom with double bed and memory foam mattress topper and room for side to side transfer. En suite wet room - with mobility equipment available at no extra cost. Kitchen with all modern appliances and dual height work surfaces.

We welcome disabled guests, including wheelchair users and their companions. Assistance from We Care Home & Away and/or equipment is available beyond that which might be expected from the type of accommodation. 

Guests who cannot manage independently or with help are welcome to contact us to make absolutely sure we can meet your needs and enhance your stay.The quaint french town offers every amenity with a market every Tuesday morning. The beaches on the west coast are an hours drive away, and is approximately 80 minutes away from Caen, and an hour and forty minutes from Cherbourg.

A little further afield, are the D-Day landing beaches, the Mont-Saint-Michel, the Lack de la Dathée, ideal for walking, fishing and boating, and an 18 hole golf course within a fifteen minute drive. Saint Saviour forest is a further ten minutes away with its stunning waterfalls and picnic areas. Typically French with a weekly traditional market with plenty of places to eat serving delicious mixture of French and English food including traditional Sunday roast dinners and Moules Mariniere. 

Fifteen minutes away is the Town of Vire with a water park, fabulous shopping opportunities, restaurants and vast recreational opportunities for children to enjoy. About 30 minutes drive away is a large Zoo perfect for a family day out. About an hour away is le Mont Saint Michel.
