Message from Vivaterra about trips to Iguazú
About Puerto Iguazú:
We have a van equipped with a hydraulic ramp for one chair + 12 conventional seats. If the booking has more than one chair, it is necessary to check the possibility that one of them can use a conventional seat.
The Iguazú National Park (Argentina) is wheelchair accessible in 95% of the circuits and you can see the three traditional ones without problems, the navigation on the Argentinean side (La Gran Aventura) has restrictions and it is not possible to do it with a wheelchair.
The Parque Nacional do Iguaçu (Brazil) is accessible only in the last part of the circuit as it has a lift that gives access to the last viewpoints, which is the most beautiful part of the circuit.
The navigation on the Brazilian side (Macuco Safari) has no restrictions and is wheelchair accessible as it is equipped with a device that takes you on board with your own wheelchair.
In all cases, it is always necessary to foresee who will be in charge of assisting the person travelling with a wheelchair. If necessary, we have a service with additional cost that can be only assistant or assistant + wheelchair.
