The Royal is one of the most historic hotels on the Isle of Wight. We have one room with an en-suite bathroom adapted for wheelchair use, with a wheel-in shower, raised toilet and lowered wash basin. This is a garden view double/twin room and is located on the first floor but is accessible by the lift.
With regards to access within the hotel, there is one step into the main entrance of the hotel and one step down to the bar and ladies/gents and disabled toilets, however we do have a portable ramp for wheelchair access. There is level access to the restaurant and main reception area.
A disabled parking space can be reserved in the hotels driveway should you have a disabled parking permit. Please note this is subject to availability at the time of arrival.
Should you wish to make a reservation, you would need to mention at the time of booking that you require a wheelchair accessible room.
