Our founder, Martin, was disabled by a light aircraft crash in 1993 and exacerbated in a road traffic accident in 2003. When he could not get a powerchair to meet his needs, he used his engineering background to achieve what was needed. Others saw this and asked for help. What started as a not-for-profit hobby has become a full-time retirement work overload, when In early 2012 we were registered as a charity to take over from the earlier “not-for-profit”.
As Enable My Trip is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation we rely solely on donations and fund raising to keep our services truly free for users and providers. We are not a travel agent or trip organiser; You will need to contact the provider(s) directly to make reservations.
