About Vicarage Farm Holiday Cottages

Vicarage Farm Holiday & Retreat Centre offers a hospitable welcome to visitors in four charming cottages and three farmhouse bedrooms, all self catering. Built in 1637 and set in six acres of delightfully landscaped private gardens and woodland, they enjoy uninterrupted views over fields, dry stone walls and quiet country lanes.

In 2021, seasoned hosts Samantha and Andrew finally got the keys for Vicarage Farm. They have sympathetically restored and refurbished the cottages to appeal to the discerning guest. The luxury holiday cottages can accommodate from 2 people right up to large groups of families, friends and colleagues. Wheelchair users can be accommodated in the Hope Cross Stables building. Vicarage Farm is also home to the hosts where they are never too far away. Sat in tranquil grounds, Vicarage Farm’s cottages are well appointed, with comfortable interiors full of the features to enhance the holiday experience.

The large patio behind the cottage enjoys uninterrupted views over fields and over towards Miller’s Dale. The patio has a dining table with benches and raised beds with a selection of plants chosen for their sensory nature, colour and texture.  We have installed wide, level paths and lighting round the entire exterior of the building, giving safe and easy access to all areas from the level car park outside the front door.
