At MICs Sant Jordi there are 32 fully-adapted apartments of different sizes, with 1 or 2 bedrooms, 1 or 2 bathrooms, with or without a terrace. The apartments are close to the local accessible metro station.
The facilities also include a gym, therapy pool, multi-purpose room and a restaurant with terrace.
All you have to do is choose the apartment best suits you and the life you want.MICs Sant Jordi has all the assistive devices necessary for adapting the apartments to the possible needs of users; i.e., articulated beds, transfer hoist, trapeze bar, bed rails, bath chair, among others.
Care support: The apartments offer 24-hour care support, provided by a team of professional carers (nursing assistants).
Personal carer: for users who require a high degree of assistance.
Physiotherapy service: individual sessions carried out by an experienced professional who caters to the needs of each person. The sessions can take place in the bedroom, the gym or in the pool.
MICs Sant Jordi is a facility belonging to the Llars de L’Amistat Cheshire Foundation. For more than 50 years, the Foundation has been helping physically dependent people who, due to different circumstances, cannot remain in their home.
Although it operates independently, the Foundation is affiliated with the Leonard Cheshire International Foundation, which is present in 50 countries and runs more than 350 homes.
The fundamental premise that guides the Foundation’s activity is to make the residences feel like their own home to the users, helping them to fulfil their life expectations.
