Helsey House is an old Victorian farmhouse built in 1880s and our cottages were converted from cattle sheds and stalls belonging to the former dairy farm.
Helsey House Cottages consist of the Cow Shed Cottage and The Dairy Cottage and are in a private courtyard with seating and a barbecue area. Both are excellent for families and can be booked together for larger family groups. The Dairy Cottage is also for people with mobility issues who need that little bit extra to be comfortable and enjoy their holiday. Roll-In Shower is within the bathroom.
Helsey House Cottages are comfortably furnished to the highest standard whilst maintaining the original features and character of the buildings. Our cottages make an ideal base to explore the beautiful Lincolnshire coastline. We are close to lovely sandy beaches if you seek peace and quiet, walk your dog or watch the birds.
Free Wi-Fi access available. There is ample parking in the grounds. The owners, Mark and Elizabeth Elvidge live on site and so are available for help and advice.
Our charming cottages are to be found in the grounds of Helsey House. Set in the hamlet of Helsey near Hogsthorpe, Helsey House Cottages are ideal for discovering East Lincolnshire and the Lincolnshire coast. Helsey House Cottages are about 5 miles from the seaside village of Chapel St Leonards and about 10 miles from the historic market town of Alford.
