Once a modest 1930's farmworker's cottage, The Cottage Beyond has seen an amazing transformation and now offers luxurious and spacious group accommodation for 14 people (2 EXTRA beds available charged per person). It has a private spa hall with a heated pool, hot tub and sauna, making it a very special place to stay for big family holidays, hen weekends, self catering corporate breaks and celebrations.

The location is nothing short of fabulous, being at the heart of a 180-acre organic farm near Wellington in Somerset. Besides the huge private garden there are open fields, rolling hills and wooded valleys to explore right from the doorstep.

The Cottage Beyond, from the drive through the leafy Somerset lanes, the fantastic location, and the impressive large group accommodation itself. Step into a wide open hallway with a handcrafted oak staircase leading to the first floor and huge windows giving staggering views across the valley. T
o the left of the hallway is a ramp that leads to the living room which wraps around one side of the house and continues through to the dining area. The whole of this space is light, bright and airy with full height windows and doors opening onto the terrace. There’s also a door through to the kitchen, so it's all very convenient, sociable and just perfect for those happy celebrations when you're all having a scrumptious feast around the dining table.
Alan & Christine, the owners of The Cottage Beyond are aware of the need for holiday houses to be be accessible to people with additional needs. Their son was born with Kleefstra Syndrome (a rare chromosome deletion) and so knowing their own needs they have considerately extended the house to ensure accessibility for all.
